This dojo has been around for more than 25 years and is doing great. Unfortunately, martial arts affiliations are popping up everywhere in North America. Many of these affiliations only exist for one reason: earning money for the own good.

Matayoshi Kobudo La Ronge Inc. recently became affiliated with the Matayoshi Kobudo Kodokan International (MKKI). This organisation has a direct link to the Matayoshi family in Okinawa, where kobudo originated. We believe that the MKKI is a very respectful organisation, that is not just out there to make a quick buck.
